TEANECK, NJ — Michael Butler, 47, of Leonia, formerly of Teaneck, died Friday.
He was "an avid and dedicated New York Yankees fan," his obituary states. He was also a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Notre Dame football.
He was predeceased by his brother and best friend Mark.

He is survived by his mother Mary, father Harold, sister Sharon and her husband Michael, sister-in-law Jenny and nephews Stephen and Kevin, along with a large and loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation is Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck. A funeral service will begin from the funeral home Thursday at 9 a.m. and then to St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Cremation will be private.
