New York Apparel Company Moving to Teaneck

Leeward International will take over a 5,100-square-foot office at the Glenpointe complex.

A manufacturer and distributor of women's apparel has inked a deal to move its company headquarters from midtown Manhattan to new office space in Teaneck.

Leeward International will setup in a 5,100-square-foot office at the Glenpointe complex, according real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield, which handled the lease.

"Leeward wanted proximity to New York City and looked at a number of sites in Northern New Jersey," Richard Baumstein, a member of the real estate team, said in a news release. "Glenpointe provides that proximity, as well as a class A office environment for the company."

The Glenpointe complex has three buildings, including a hotel, and a new 242,150-square-foot addition is in the works, according to the firm.
