Registration Open for Teaneck Community Gardens

The following announcement was issued by the Township of Teaneck: 

Registration is underway for gardeners to obtain a plot at the Community Gardens for the 2013 season.  You must register in person at the Department of Public Works front office at 1600 River Road between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Registration ends on March 28.

Applicants must provide proof of residency in the form of one photo ID and one additional form of identification (i.e., a valid New Jersey driver’s license, bank statement, credit card statement, utility bill or mortgage statement).  Failure to comply with the “in-person” registration requirements will exclude the applicant from participation in the 2013 Community Gardens Program.
