Teaneck Declares Snow Emergency

A snow emergency has been declared in Teaneck for Tuesday, bringing parking restrictions on township streets.

Unless otherwise exempt from restrictions, street parking is prohibited while plows are needed to clear snow, according to a police department alert.

Parking restrictions have been lifted at township municipal lots, the alert said.

A winter weather advisory was in place for the area until 7 p.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. Two to four inches of snow could fall on the region through the early evening.
