Teaneck, Englewood Honoring Isley Brothers With Street Renaming
The Isley Brothers announced they'll be present for a street renaming ceremony in Teaneck on Thursday.

TEANECK, NJ — One of the most recognizable sets of siblings in popular music history will be honored in two Bergen County communities this week.
The street at the corner of Van Arsdale Place and Van Cortland Terrace in Teaneck will be renamed Isley Brothers Way during a Thursday ceremony, The Isley Brothers announced.
Another ceremony, on Liberty Road in Englewood, is also scheduled for Thursday, honoring the family's connection to both places.

Northjersey.com reports that Ron and Ernie Isley both lived on Van Arsdale Place in Teaneck, and that Ernie Isley spent some time on Liberty Road in Englewood.
"I'm truly grateful and humbled that Teaneck and Englewood, two cities that are so near and dear to me, have chosen to honor the Isley Brothers in this way," Ron Isley told the publication.

Both Ernie and Ron Isley will be in attendance on Thursday for the ceremony in Teaneck, scheduled for 2 p.m.
