Teaneck Grad, Felician Bowler Named Conference Player Of The Week

Freshman bowler Mia Aish was named East Coast Conference Women's Bowling Player of the Week for the period ending Feb. 21.

RUTHERFORD, NJ — Felician University freshman bowler Mia Aish is the East Coast Conference's Women's Bowling Player of the Week for the period ending Feb. 21, the conference announced.

Aish, a 2020 Teaneck High School graduate, was the individual champion at the Bears Classic, a one-day event hosted by Bloomfield College on Feb. 21 in Oakland, N.J.

She averaged 201.7 for three traditional matches, according to the college. She followed with a 21.89 frame average during the best-of-seven Baker playoff bracket to lead Felician to the tournament victory, a first in program history.

Aish led all ECC bowlers on the week in strike percentage (.563) and overall frame average (20.81).
