Teaneck Nurse Saved From Elimination On 'The Voice' [video]
Alicia Keys chose Quizz Swanigan over Felicia Temple, but Blake Shelton stole her as she was walking off stage Monday night.
Teaneck's Felicia Temple was rejected by her idol and coach Alicia Keys on "The Voice" Monday night, Blake Shelton saved the 28-year-old nurse.
Temple, who earned the nickname "Felicia Keys" in high school, battled against 13-year-old Quizz Swanigan, a Michael Jackson tribute artist, with the song "Titanium."
Both artists gave stellar performances, but Keys picked Swanigan because of his "innocence and a voice prowess that's just undeniable."

"What is it not about Felicia?" Shelton responded to host Carson Daly's question: "What is it about Felicia, Blake?"
Temple now heads to the knockout rounds in April. She is a nurse at Teaneck's Holy Name Hospital and a cancer survivor. She and Keys performed a duet during her debut performance last month.
