TEANECK, NJ — A local football player helped his team play for a national championship.
Jake Sconza is the quarterback of the Teaneck Highwaymen and an eighth-grade River Dell Middle School student. He helped lead his team to a 27-0 win over the Staten Island Hurricanes. He threw two touchdowns in the win.
The highwaymen play in the Elite United Youth Football League. Sconza is a top quarterback prospect in his age group, nationally.
