Teaneck Tennis Courts Open

TEANECK, NJ — The Township of Teaneck has issued an Executive Order opening municipal tennis courts.

According to the order, municipal tennis courts will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for singles play with "strict adherence to social distancing guidelines" effective Friday, May 22 at 12 p.m.

A one-hour limit will be placed on the time players can spend on the court, and a mask or face covering must be worn when entering or exiting the courts.

Gates will remain open to prevent touching.

For those seeking to eliminate the racket, you'll have to wait a little longer, as municipal handball courts will remain closed.
