UPDATE: Teaneck COVID Vaccine Clinic Getting More Supply
Township Manager Dean Kazinci announced Teaneck will delay the publication of an online registration link as Holy Name receives more doses.

TEANECK, NJ — Vaccine distribution will continue at the Richard Rodda Center on Monday, and it's likely that more people will have a chance to receive one than originally expected.
In a Friday letter, Township Manager Dean Kazinci announced that Teaneck would delay the publication of an online registration link until they receive confirmation from Holy Name that additional trays of the Pfizer vaccine have been delivered.
Kazinci announced that the Teaneck hospital is expecting to receive "several additional trays", with each tray carrying enough supply to vaccinate over 1,000 people, he said.

The Township Manager anticipates a link will be available on Sunday.
"When the link is active, all available appointments will be listed in accordance with the number of available vaccinations. The link will deactivate once the appointments are filled," he added.

Vaccinations started at the site Wednesday when those 65 and older and first responders who met the criteria for Category 1B were inoculated at the site.
According to Holy Name officials, they expected to vaccinate up to 70 people per hour on Wednesday, and had roughly 300 doses at their disposal.
The space, however, allows for the hospital's pharmacies and nurses to inoculate up to 1,500 people a day, according to Kazinci. Holy Name officials agreed that more people could be vaccinated daily, but, when asked Wednesday, said a lack of available doses was stopping them from doing so.
With more doses expected this weekend, it's not yet clear how many more people will be able to get a vaccine throughout the day.
Kazinci did note that as long as there's supply, he expects the clinic to run seven days a week.
Understanding that many will have questions about the process, officials announced that a hotline has been set up, and will be active as of Monday. For questions, call 201-837-4840.
"This number is for Teaneck residents who need assistance with completing online Phase 1A registration for the vaccination due to special needs. At the onset, I anticipate a high volume of calls for assistance. Please be patient," wrote Kazinci.
Residents can also send questions to Vaccine@teanecknj.gov.
