The films will deal with the topics of gun control, child trafficking, abortion, and civil rights.

TEANECK, N.J. — The first trailer for the 2016 Teaneck International Film Festival was released earlier this month.

The festival's theme of "Activism: Making Change" highlights the Puffin Foundation's work of providing grants to artists and art organizations who are excluded from mainstream opportunities due to their race, gender, or social philosophy.

The films come from all over the world and will deal with the topics of gun control, child trafficking, abortion, civil rights, and the Syrian refugee crisis.
