Water Main Break Impacts 25 Teaneck Homes

A water main break Friday morning has left more than two dozen Teaneck homes with decreased water pressure.

A water main break on Ester Avenue has left 25 homes with decreased water pressure Friday, a water company spokeswoman said.

United Water spokeswoman Sonja Clark said the break was reported around 5 a.m. and crews expect to have the six-inch main repaired by 2 p.m. None of the homes were completely without service, she said.

The cause of the water main break was not immediately known.
