"Rich in architecture and layered with nature—whether it's canopies of trees, a beach that stretches for miles, or the glass-like surface on a lake or river—each U.S. state hosts more than one town that will take your breath away. From the East Coast to all the way to the West, we have listed are our favorites, with special love for small towns that are also abundant in culture. So put on your hiking boots and get ready to explore. Chances are, you'll come back home with memories that will last a lifetime, or even a new piece of art to hang in your home," the magazine says.
