Toms River Home, $276K, Has A Haunting Story

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Do you believe in ghosts? You might be convinced if you spend a night in this Toms River home, which reportedly is on the market.

An Asbury Park Press report says the home at 100 Terrace Ave. in Toms River has been on the market for more than a year, though the listing on realtor.com says it is off-market. The home was listed for $247,597, according to realtor.com.

It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and 1,524 square feet of living space, and was built in 1959, according to the old listing information. Photos show a bright, airy home with a fully finished basement.

But according to the Asbury Park Press report, the home has an added attraction: it appears to be haunted. A family that rented the home in 2012 reported a string of frightening experiences that led to them flee the home and later sue the owner.
