2 Verona Police Officers Promoted

David Wardrope was promoted to captain. Christopher Scheper was promoted to sergeant.

VERONA, NJ — Two Verona Police Department officers were promoted recently.

David Wardrope was promoted to the rank of captain and Christopher Scheper was promoted to sergeant at a ceremony Dec. 27, said Officer Ed Carattini Jr.

"We congratulate these officers, and wish them as they embark on the next phase in their careers," Carattini said.
