5 Awesome Hot Air Balloons You Can See This Month In New Jersey

The 33rd annual QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning will be held July 24 to 26 at Solberg Airport in Readington.

The festival will feature hundreds of balloons, live entertainment, food and more. A few “special shapes” balloons will be appearing at the festival, also.

Here are five of those awesome balloons you will see at the festival, according to organizers.

Ever see a floating 86-foot high Darth Vader? You will if you go to the New Jersey Festival of Ballooning.

Q The Seahorse

The festival’s new signature balloon will travel all the way from Brazil for the festivities.

World’s Biggest Free-Flying American Flag

It is 53 feet tall, 78 feet wide and 29 feet from front to back. It weighs 530 pounds, according to information provided by US Flag Balloon Team.

Giant Panda

Sponsored by Unique Photo, this humongous panda is sure to impress the kids, and probably the adults, too.
