Cedar Grove HS Ace Hurls Perfect Game, Strikes Out Every Batter (WATCH)

Watch Cedar Grove High School's Mia Faieta take down 21 batters in a game for the ages.

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — It isn’t often that a pitcher can say that they’re “perfect.” But Cedar Grove’s Mia Faieta accomplished the dream of every softball ace – and captured a bragging right belonging to a select few – when she struck out all 21 batters she faced in a state playoff game.

With her gem of a performance, Faieta, a sophomore at Cedar Grove High School, led her team to a 4-0 victory, over North Warren in a North 1, Group 1 state semifinal game.

“I've never witnessed anything like that before," Cedar Grove head coach Nicole Velardi told NorthJersey.com.
