Cedar Grove Obituary: Alice Marie McCormack

Former Cedar Grove resident Alice Marie McCormack passed away on Oct. 21.

She was 85-years-old.

“Alice Marie McCormack, 85, of Mendham, N.J., formerly of Cedar Grove, N.J., passed away on October 21, 2015.

“Born in Clifton, N.J. to the late John and Anna Gernat, Alice lived in Cedar Grove before moving to Mendham a year and a half ago. She was a retired administrative assistant with Beneficial Management Corp., Morristown, N.J. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Cedar Grove VFW Post and was secretary of the Charter School Board of St. Catherine of Siena School. Alice also bowled for St. Catherine’s bowling team.

“Predeceased by her parents, husband, James J., and siblings, John, Jr., Eleanor Demeresky, Lawrence, George, and Dorothy White, she is survived by her son, Patrick, and his wife, Kathleen; granddaughter, Kathryn Grace, and sister Ann Hilton.

“In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, cancer.org.”
