Cedar Grove Obituary: Donald 'Pete' Williams, CG Ambulance Unit and United Presbyterian Church Member

Cedar Grove resident Donald Williams passed away on Dec. 31.

“Donald ‘Pete’ Williams, 84, of Cedar Grove, N.J., passed away on December 31, 2015.

“Born in Montclair, N.J. to the late Henry and Helen Williams, Pete lived in Verona, N.J. before settling in Cedar Grove in 1958. He was a regional manager with Wallace and Tiernan before retiring. He was President and a Charter Member of the United Presbyterian Church of Cedar Grove, member and past-president of the Cedar Grove Ambulance Unit, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cedar Ridge Senior Housing, Cedar Grove. He proudly served our country with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

“Predeceased by his parents, wife, Jane, and brother, Henry, he is survived by his daughters, Karen Williams and Cindy Coryell; his favorite granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Adams (Mike); brother, Ed Williams; and dog, Snickers.

“In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Presbyterian Church of Cedar Grove, 155 Commerce Rd., Cedar Grove.”
