Cedar Grove Obituary: Linda Cronin, Award-Winning Poet
The Cedar Grove resident, author of "Dream Bones," received the Allen Ginsberg Poetry Award and was a Poetry Center of Paterson member.

Cedar Grove, NJ – Cedar Grove resident Linda Cronin passed away on March 11.
The following obituary comes courtesy of Shook’s Cedar Grove Funeral Home:
“Linda Ann Cronin, 46, of Cedar Grove, N.J. passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 from complications of arthritis.

“Born in Montclair, N.J. to Richard and Margaret (O'Sullivan) Cronin, Linda lived most of her life in Cedar Grove. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Loyola University Maryland and attended graduate school at Villanova University. Linda was a free-lance writer and her memory will live on in the many beautiful poems she wrote, including those in her collection entitled Dream Bones, published in 2010. Her work was honored and received many awards including the Allen Ginsberg Poetry Award. Linda was a member of the Poetry Center, Paterson, N.J.
“She is survived by her parents, Richard and Margaret Cronin; her siblings, Thomas (Arlene), Kathleen and Mary Cronin; her nephew, Kevin and nieces, Kimberly, Andrea, Julianne, Lucy and Kiara. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins.
