Former Cedar Grove resident Michael Acocella Jr. passed away on Feb. 11.

“Michael Anthony Acocella, Jr., 65, of Highland Lakes, N.J., formerly of Cedar Grove, N.J., passed away on February 11, 2016.

“Born in Newark, N.J., he resided most of his life in Cedar Grove before moving to Highland Lakes about 5 years ago. He was a former member of the Cedar Grove Volunteer Fire Department. He was a self-employed information technology consultant.

“Predeceased by his triplets, Love, Faith and Hope, and mother, Alice Acocella, he is survived by his wife, Barbara Acocella, his children, Michael A. Acocella, IV and Allyson Bell; his grandson, Aiden Acocella; his father, Michael A. Acocella, Sr.; and his sister, MaryEllen Tramazzo.”
