Cedar Grove Obitutary: Ann Caraglia

Essex County resident Ann Caraglia passed away on Sept. 17.

She was 91-years-old.

The following obituary comes courtesy of Farmer Funeral Home:

“Ann R. Caraglia (Gerardi,) 91, of Roseland, died on September 17, 2015.

“Ann was born and raised in Newark, lived in Bloomfield, settled in Cedar Grove and moved to Roseland in 2013. Prior to her retirement, she was a head teller for the former Yorkwood Savings and Loan Bank in West Caldwell for 30 years. She was a member of the Newark Senior Citizens Club at Immaculate Conception Church and the Cedar Grove Senior Citizen’s Club.

“She is pre-deceased by her husband, Thomas P. Caraglia and her brother, Leonard Gerardi.

“Surviving are her beloved children, Carol D’Alessandro and her husband Gerald, Thomas Caraglia and his companion Suzanne, Angela Gabriel and her husband Donald and Ralph Caraglia; devoted grandsons, Chris and Bobby and her cherished great-grandchildren, Gia, Daria, Alicia, Brittany and Anthony.

“In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Maryknoll Ministries, PO Box 311, Maryknoll, NY 10545.”
