Cedar Grove resident Joseph Sirotnak passed away on Sept. 21.

He was 91-years-old.

“Joseph M. Sirotnak, 91, of Cedar Grove, N.J., passed away on September 21, 2015.

“Born and raised in Throop, PA, Joseph proudly served our country as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, receiving a purple heart, and during the Korean War as a serviceman.

“Predeceased by his parents, Michael and Anna Sirotnak, he is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Monica; loving daughter, Michele, and her husband William Wall; cherished grandchildren, William and Meghan; and his brother, Dr. Francis Sirotnak.

“In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cedar Grove Ambulance and Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 81, Cedar Grove, N.J.”
