Cedar Grove Police Arrest Drivers For Suspended Licenses: PD

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Several people, including a Cedar Grove man, were arrested recently for driving with suspended registrations and licenses.

Patrolman Raymond Cassella stopped a driver Tuesday after a random license plate check showed the registration was suspended. The driver, a 37-year-old man from Butler, had a suspended license. The vehicle was impounded and the man was arrested. He was later released with a summons to appear in Cedar Grove Municipal Court.

Patrolman Alan Rock stopped a driver Thursday night after a random license plate check showed the vehicle's license was suspended. The driver, a 40-year-old West Orange man, was driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was impounded and the man was arrested. He was later released with a summons to appear in Cedar Grove Municipal Court.

Patrolman Michael Passaflume stopped a driver Saturday night for an obstructed windshield. The driver, a 53-year-old Cedar Grove man, was driving with a suspended license and had an outstanding warrant out of Irvington. He was arrested for driving with a suspended license and was taken to the Irvington Police Department on the outstanding warrant.

Sgt. Jason Wolfstirn stopped a vehicle Saturday afternoon after a random license place check showed the registration belonged to a different vehicle. The driver, a 21-year-old East Orange man, was driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was impounded after police learned it was unregistered and not insured. The driver was released with a summons to appear in Cedar Grove Municipal Court.
