Cedar Grove Police Save Intoxicated Driver Using Narcan: Blotter
The driver showed symptoms consistent with a drug overdose, according to police.

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Cedar Grove Police were able to save a driver with no pulse or signs of breathing using Narcan following a three-car crash last Friday, according to police.
Officers began to do CPR on the 53-year-old driver, who had symptoms showing a possible drug overdose and administered Narcan, a medicine used to treat suspected opioid overdose.
The man regained consciousness soon after and was taken to the hospital and later released to police. He was charged with driving while intoxicated.
