Essex County Journalist And Educator Passes Away

Marcia Worth-Baker wrote for Patch, The New York Times, NJ Monthly And The Village Green.

Essex County journalist and educator Marcia Worth-Baker – who wrote for Patch, The New York Times, NJ Monthly and The Village Green – passed away suddenly on Monday.

The South Orange resident worked as an educator at Newark Academy and Far BrookSchool, and is survived by her husband David and their three children, The Village Green reported.

She taught English in both the Middle and Upper Schools at Newark Academy, and served as a student advisor, tennis coach and student newspaper editor, according to her LinkedIn profile.
