Hydrant Flushing in Cedar Grove May 10 through 12
Residents are advised to shower before 7 p.m. in areas where fire hydrants are being flushed.
CEDAR GROVE — Cedar Grove is conducting a fire hydrant flushing between May 10 and 12, between 7 p.m. and midnight each day.
During those three days, residents are advised to shower before 7 p.m. and to store water for any other needs, including breakfast.
Doing laundry after the fire hydrants nearby have been flushed may discolor clothes, so residents should wait 24 hours.

Hydrant Flushing will start in the south end of town and proceed towards the north, but it's hard to determine in which exact neighborhood it will happen at any given time.
Although not harmful, residents can expect water discoloration up to 26 hours after flushing. Running the faucets will help clear the water.
