Yogi Berra Museum to host public forum aimed at parents, trainers.

Are you a parent or youth trainer concerned about sports injuries?

The Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center will be hosting a public symposium, “Play Hard, Play Right: Making Youth Sports Safer,” on Tuesday, April 21 at 7 p.m.

During the forum, three experts from the world of professional sports will address a national debate about children and sports injuries:

· Roman Oben, former 12-year National Football League lineman and current NFL Director of Youth Football

· John Gallucci, president and founder of JAG Physical Therapy and medical coordinator for Major League Soccer

· Robb Rehberg, PhD, Professor William Paterson University, Consultant in Sports Medicine and founder of Sport Safety International

According to a release, the program is aimed at parents, coaches, athletic trainers, personal trainers and other youth sports officials.

The Richard Becher Memorial Foundation for Safety in Sports is sponsoring the program.
