No Surprises In Cedar Grove Municipal Election 2021
There were only three candidates running for the three council member seats.

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — One incumbent, one newcomer, and the current mayor are the only three candidates running for the three spots open in the Cedar Grove Town Council. The unofficial results have the three neck-and-neck, with only about a percentage point difference.
Mayor Kerry Peterson is leading, with 33.71 percent of the votes.
In number two is incumbent Joseph Zichelli, with 33.65 percent, followed by Melissa Skabich, with 32.63 percent.

Voter turnout for different towns across Essex County was 12.86 percent, out of 37,568 registered voters.
Results will not be official until they are certified by Essex County Clerk Chris Durkin.
