Package Stolen From Cedar Grove Home: Police
The package was stolen from a Winding Way home, police said.
CEDAR GROVE, NJ — A man was charged with driving while intoxicated recently after police stopped a vehicle early in the morning recently.
A Winding Way resident reported Saturday afternoon that a package had been stolen from his home, police said. The man confirmed with UPS that the packaged had been delivered while he was away. Police are investigating.
Patrolman Anthony Rock stopped the driver for failing to maintain a lane and failure to signal a turn at 12:45 a.m. Saturday, police said. An investigation led to the arrest of a 59-year-old man from Ho-Ho-Kus for driving while intoxicated, police said. The man was released with a summons to appear in Municipal Court.
