Verona Ballet Presents ‘The Nutcracker’ At Montclair State

The Verona School of Classical Ballet will hold performances of holiday classic, "The Nutcracker," at Montclair State University.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — The Verona School of Classical Ballet will hold performances of holiday classic, “The Nutcracker,” at Montclair State University on Friday, Nov. 17 and Saturday, Nov. 18.

According to a news release, Alissa Kossov, now in her 20th year of operating Verona Ballet, will help to bring the production of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker to life. This year’s performance will include internationally acclaimed ballet dancers Albina Ghazaryan, Narek Martirosyan and Vitaly Verterich, as well as the school's own students, who range in age from 4 to 18 years.

Performances take place on the stage of the Memorial Theater at Montclair State University on Friday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 18 at noon. For tickets, visit http://vbs.booktix.com .

“Join Clara and her friends at a holiday Christmas party and be taken on an enchanting voyage to meet marching soldiers, swirling snowflakes, Arabian dancers, mystical mice, waltzing flowers and the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy in Verona Ballet's production of The Nutcracker. The dazzling costumes, snowflakes, and scenery will take young and old alike on a heart-warming journey to usher in the holiday season.”
