Verona And Cedar Grove Fireworks Celebrations: 2018 Guide

VERONA, NJ — The 2018 Verona fireworks display will take place on Monday, July 2 at the Verona Community Center Complex at 880 Bloomfield Avenue. The rain date will be July 3.
According to a municipal event flyer, parking is limited so people are encouraged to walk. Limited handicapped parking will be available in the Liberty Field lot. Additional parking will be available at 799 Bloomfield Ave. and Cameco, 100 Pine St.

“DJ entertainment begins at 7 p.m. Fireworks begin around 9:20 p.m. Seating on Liberty Field for blankets and beach chairs only. NO four-legged chairs allowed on the field (i.e. fold out camping chairs). NO food or drinks allowed on the field.”

The Cedar Grove fireworks 2018 display will take place on Sunday, July 1 at Panther Park Field. The rain date is July 2.

According to a municipal news release, gates open at 7 p.m. and the fireworks display begins at dusk. Activities leading up to the fireworks include a live DJ, a balloon artist and an artificial tattoo artist. Refreshments will be sold by the Cedar Grove Black and Gold Club, Towne Scoop Ice Cream Truck and Carnival Concessions.
There is a suggested donation upon entry. There are no camping chairs and no food permitted on the turf.
