VERONA, NJ — To celebrate Juneteenth, the Township of Verona is holding a flag-raising ceremony, which will happen a few days before the actual holiday, on Wednesday afternoon,
The event will be held at 7 p.m., outside in the Verona Civic Center, 600 Bloomfield Ave.
"The entire community is invited to join the Township Council as we recognize this historical event," the Township stated.
