Verona Girls Basketball Team Triumphs Over Nutley, Wins Championship
The girls and coaches – all Verona residents – dribbled their way to a 35-27 victory.
VERONA, NJ — The Verona 6th Grade Girls Suburban Basketball Team recently triumphed over their Nutley peers during a championship game earlier this month.
According to a news release, the girls and coaches – all Verona residents – dribbled their way to a 35-27 victory.
Their game trophy will be on display at the Verona Community Center, the release stated.
