Verona Library Looking For Book Donations For Annual Sale

The organization is especially in need of children's books. The items will be used for a book sale in December.

VERONA, NJ — Time to go through the bookshelves at home and hunt for well-kept books that are just taking up space.

The Friends of the Verona Public Library put out a call for donations of gently used in good condition books.

The organization is looking especially for children's books. They are also accepting CDs, but not magazines, textbooks, VHSs, or cassette tapes.

The items will be used for a book sale taking place later in the year, in December.

According to the organization, book sales are their primary source of fundraising, in addition to membership dues. Proceeds are used to put together library events.
