Verona resident Jean Sandin passed away on Oct. 5.
She was 94-years-old.

“Mrs. Jean Sandin, 94, died on Oct. 5, 2015.
“Born and raised in Montclair, Mrs. Sandin has lived in Verona for 71 years.

“Mrs. Sandin was a hairdresser at Rudolph & Cheer in Montclair and the co-owner with her late husband of the old Verona Inn in Verona.
“She is the wife of the late Albert T. Sandin, the mother of Diana L. Askling and the grandmother of Barbara Bruso (and her husband, Christopher) and John D. Askling, Jr. (and his wife, Jolyne). She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Tyler, Haley and Jack.”
