Verona Offering Vaccine Clinic On May 19 and Home Vaccination

Both programs are being offered to Verona and Cedar Grove Residents. The homebound effort is being led by the Montclair Health Department.

VERONA, NJ — Residents of Verona and Cedar Grove who have not gotten their COVID-19 vaccines will have the opportunity to do so. There is an upcoming vaccination clinic on May 19 and homebound residents can register to get the shot at home.

The clinic will be open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on May 19 at the Verona Community Center. Residents from Verona and Cedar Grove must register, by calling 973-857-4832.

Transportation will be offered to those who need it.

Those who from who have difficulty traveling out of their house can get registered to be vaccinated at home with a one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, by calling the Montclair Health Department at 973-509-4970. Verona and Cedar Grove residents are eligible.

Caregivers, familiy members, or those who assist homebound people with daily living challenges will also be offered a vaccine.
