Verona Pianist Wins Award For Mozart Performance At Festival
LiYuan Byrne performed at Carnegie Hall when she was 5.

VERONA, NJ — LiYuan Byrne graced the stage of Carnegie Hall when she was just 5. But that was by no means the apex of her musical accomplishments.
Byrne, 16, received the Audience Recognition Award for her performance of Mozart's "Concerto No. 22 In E-Flat Major" at Alfred University's MostArts Festival recently.
Byrne was one of eight performers at the festival. She also performed Beethoven's "Sonata No. 3 In C Major" and three other selections.

In 2018, Byrne won first place in the
Senior category of the MTNA New Jersey Competition and was the 2018 recipient of the Suburban Music Study Club Grace Gimbel Young Artist Scholarship Competition.
Byrne performed a summer concert tour in Russia in 2017. She is a student of renowned pianist Eduardus Halim at New York University.
