Verona ‘Relaxes’ Parking Enforcement During Ramadan: Police
People parking their cars in Verona will get some temporary leeway as the township observes the 2019 Ramadan holiday, officials said.
VERONA, NJ — People parking their cars in Verona will get some temporary leeway for the next month as the township observes the Ramadan holiday, authorities announced Monday.
According to the Verona Police Department, officers will be “relaxing enforcement” of the town’s overnight parking rules for the next 30 days in observance of Ramadan.
The first day of fasting for Ramadan – the holiest month for Muslims – will take place on Monday, May 6 in the United States, Europe and most Arab nations for 2019, Al Jazeera reported.
