Winter Pet Care Advisory Issued For Verona

See how to take care of a pet in the winter and how to report a possible animal neglect case.

Warm shelter isn’t just for humans.

As weather forecasters predict that a possible snow storm may dump more than a foot of snow on some parts of New Jersey this weekend, the Montclair Animal Shelter - which also services Nutley and Verona - issued an advisory about proper winter pet care on Thursday.

“All outdoor animals are required to have shelter that protects them from the elements, proper bedding for warmth, nutritious food in sufficient quantity and access to fresh, unfrozen water,” shelter staff wrote on a social media post.
