2,000 Remain In Dark 5 Days After Nor'Easter In Somerset County

JCP&L is reporting a total of 2,034 county residents without power and restoration could be as late as 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — More than 2,000 Somerset County residents still do not have power on Tuesday, five days after Friday's Nor'easter.

JCP&L is reporting a total of 2,034 county residents without power and restoration could be as late as 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The majority is in Bernardsville with 999 residents, which caused schools to close Monday and Tuesday. (See Related: 1,000 Still Without Power In Bernardsville, Bedminster)

Followed by Basking Ridge with 473 residents with no power. The power outages and road closures have caused havoc in the township. (See Related: Basking Ridge Schools, Roads, Power Still Suffering From Storm)
