18K Still Without Power In Somerset County
Breaking: JCP&L has not made a projected restoration time. PSE&G says power could be back on as late as 11:45 p.m. on Saturday.
SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — Power outages continue to plague Somerset County Thursday night, with a total of more than 18,000 in the dark following the snowstorm.
JCP&L is reporting 9,732 customers as of 6:45 p.m. are without power with the most in Basking Ridge with 3,162 followed by Warren with 2,021. No restoration time has been set.
"We are experiencing power outages due to severe weather and are assessing damage. We will provide estimated restoration times when they are available," JCP&L stated.

- Bernardsville - 1,602
- Branchburg - 609
- Bridgewater - 500

- Warren - 2,021
- Watchung - 28
PSE&G is reporting 8,825 customers without power in Somerset County with the most in North Plainfield with 2,693 followed by Watchung with 2,009. Power restoration could be as late as 11:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Many towns are reporting that DPW crews are unable to plow certain areas because of the downed power lines. Once the lines are cleaned up, the town can remove downed trees and plow roads.
