4 Candidates To Run For Warren Township Committee

Republican incumbents Gary DiNardo and Victor Sordillo are running against Democrats Ilana Goldstein-Barsky and Nichelle Santos.

WARREN, NJ — Monday was the deadline to file for the upcoming primary election in June and four candidates have announced their intention to run for the two, three-year Warren Township Committee seats.

Republican incumbents Gary P. DiNardo and Victor Sordillo will face Democrats Ilana Goldstein-Barsky and Nichelle Santos in the November election.

Both DiNardo and Sordillo have served on the township committee for more than two decades. Both were elected in November 2000.

Sordillo is currently serving as Deputy Mayor.

Goldstein-Barsky previously ran and lost her bid for the township committee in 2020. She has been working in the Product Management field for more than 15 years and previously served on the Warren Township Board of Education from 2018 to 2019.

The primary election will occur on June 8 and the general election will occur on Nov. 2.
