5 Unlocked Cars Burglarized On Sunday In Warren
A hit-and-run and multiple car crashes were also reported recently, according to the police blotter.
WARREN, NJ — Five unlocked cars were burglarized this past Sunday in Warren.
At 7:05 a.m., a Claire Drive resident said someone entered his unlocked car and used a garage door opener to access the garage, said Warren Police.
Nothing appeared to have been taken from the car or garage. A video recording showed three people were at the burglary, police said.

Later on Sunday at 1:45 p.m., a Washington Valley Road resident reported a burglary to four of their unlocked cars. All were entered but nothing appears to have been taken, said police.

On Sunday at 3:44 a.m.: A 21-year-old Warren woman was driving westbound on Mount Horeb Road at King George Road when she left the roadway, struck a traffic signal, a sign, another signal then came to rest against a utility pole, cracking it. She was issued a summons for careless driving. Her car was towed from the scene.
On April 26 at 9:17 a.m.: A 17-year-old woman from Stirling swerved to avoid a fox on Mountain Avenue near Regional Drive and hit two mailboxes and a speed sign. No services needed, no summonses issued.
On April 26 at 1:11 p.m.: A hit and run crash was reported on Mountain View Road near Mount Bethel Road. A silver Ford Mustang hit a 51-year-old Scotch Plains woman's car then fled.
