Brightview Warren Begins COVID-19 Vaccinations
Although the vaccination is not mandatory, 99 percent of residents at Brightview Warren have opted to receive it.

WARREN, NJ — Brightview Warren began administering the COVID-19 vaccines to its residents and staff on Tuesday.
Associates and residents received the Pfizer vaccine administered by technicians from Walgreens Healthcare Clinic.
Although the vaccination is not mandatory, 99 percent of residents — at the senior living center at 57 Mt. Bethel Rd. in Warren — opted to receive it.

"We are thrilled that the day to begin the COVID-19 vaccination process is finally here, and we see this as a step toward the full return of socialization and vibrancy for which Brightview is known," said Susan Bruncati of Brightview. "We are thankful to be partnered with our local health officials on providing this important protection to our residents and associates."
Brightview Warren will utilize their multi-purpose space for the pharmacist-administered vaccines. Community leaders have arranged a schedule for associates and residents to come by for their appointments.

Those choosing to receive the shot will have to complete a standard procedure Vaccine Administration Record form. There will be a total of three vaccination clinics to administer the two-step vaccine at Brightview over the course of 9 to 12 weeks.
As of Wednesday, Warren Township reported 29 new coronavirus cases in the past week. This brings the township's total amount of cases to 469 and 18 deaths since March.
