WARREN, NJ — As more and more New Jersey towns now rank high on New Jersey's coronavirus case and fatality list. See how Warren compares:

As of Wednesday, the township reported one new coronavirus case. Since the pandemic began the township has reported a total of 168 coronavirus cases and 14 deaths.

Of the 14 people, who have died due to the coronavirus in Warren, the overall age range is 65 to 95 years of age:

  • 3 - age 65 to 79

Comparing Warren to the rest of the Garden State, Patch put together lists showing all the towns and their latest reported number of coronavirus cases and fatalities now that the outbreak is in its sixth month, ranking them based on population. (To see all of the towns and lists click here)

Warren saw a 22.22 percent increase in cases from July 4 through Aug. 23, which ranked at 175 out of all the towns in the state.

The township also saw a 0 percent increase in fatalities in the same timeframe.

Warren saw 10.45 cases per 1,000 people in the same timeframe, which ranked at 378 in the state.

Somerset County has a total of 5,379 cases and 493 deaths as of Friday, according to the state. Franklin Township is the hardest hit in the county with 1,475 cases and 135 deaths followed by Bridgewater and Bernards Township in terms of death rate.

  • Franklin Township: 1,475 cases (135 deaths)
  • Green Brook Township: 152 cases (33 deaths)
  • Hillsborough Township: 481 cases (76 deaths)
  • Manville Borough: 164 cases (8 deaths)
  • Montgomery Township: 137 cases (6 deaths)
  • North Plainfield Borough: 357 cases (36 deaths)
  • Peapack-Gladstone Borough: 44 cases (1 death)
  • Raritan Borough: 126 cases (14 deaths)
