Opening Delayed For Portuguese-Style BBQ Restaurant In Warren
A hopeful early summer opening for Brasa off Mountain Boulevard has been pushed back. But a new date is on the horizon.

WARREN, NJ — The opening of Brasa, a new modern Portuguese-style BBQ restaurant in Warren, is delayed. But a new opening date is on the horizon.
Construction began at Brasa in April at its location off Mountain Boulevard next to China City II. The plan was to open this summer, sometime in June, but construction delays have pushed that back.
Rob Olsen, one of the owners of Brasa, said he expects the new restaurant to have a soft opening before Labor Day and a grand opening in September.

The restaurant will be a modern version of a Portuguese-style BBQ, incorporating Spanish and Brazilian favorites as well, but specializing in grilled chicken, ribs, steaks and seafood.
Brasa will offer takeout, delivery and catering and feature a more upscale dining room during dinner hours.
