After the alleged racial taunt directed at the North Plainfield football team before their game against Summit last week, the school has since said the issue should be brought before the NJSIAA.

Before last weeks game, bananas were placed inside a hole in the door of the North Plainfield football team’s locker room, which Summit Superintendent of Schools Nathan Parker later said was part of a superstition, not a racial taunt, according to nj.com.
