See Who's Nominated So Far For Warren's Best Business Of The Year

WARREN, NJ — It may have been a tough year for some local businesses. But, in Warren, that hasn't stopped you from honoring your favorites.

Looking to shine a special spotlight on these local businesses, Patch is asking readers to nominate their Local Businesses of the Year. Since we first put out the call, multiple businesses have been named so far in Warren.

Alfie’s Ristorante Italiano

What They Said: "The owner Alfie’s has gone so out of his way to meet the needs of outdoor dining during COVID-19. He personalized everything from table placement to heaters to the tents that covered and the openings for air and the flowers. The food was first-rate and the wait staff was warm and accommodating. I've been there several times during the pandemic and will continue when all of that is behind us."

What They Said: "Excellent food, wonderful staff and service, great customer service."

What They Said: "Edgewood is always there for their customers. It's like our very own 'Cheers'! You walk in and Steve knows everyone's name! He has been known to open the pharmacy at off times to get someone their much-needed medication. He has personally delivered medications to his customer's homes. I also love the fact that I can go and pick up my prescriptions and also do some shopping while there. Edgewood has an amazing gift and jewelry department, as well. Edgewood is certainly a gem in the town of Warren! I am so grateful for them!"

To include Hannah's sewing of COVID-19 face masks for her sister, a nurse in Virginia, and many of her own customers here in Warren for free but mostly for her friendly approach towards welcoming her customers."

What They Said: "I discovered Nuray's following Hurricane Sandy when very few places were opened. An authentic Turkish cafe, Chef Nuray makes conventional foods, from her wonderful omelets, an array of salads and quiches to her healthy specials like vegan, gluten-free lasagna and homemade desserts from scratch. The food is always fresh and delicious, and Nuray's is very attentive to any of your food needs."
