Somerset County Senior Centers Close Wednesday Due To Snow
In anticipation of the upcoming snow storm, Somerset County is already announcing closures.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — In anticipation of the upcoming snow storm, Somerset County is already announcing closures.
The following senior centers operated by the Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services will be closed on Wednesday: Hillsborough, Montgomery, Quail Brook, Warrenbrook and the Senior Wellness Centers in Bernards and Bridgewater.
There will be no Meals on Wheels deliveries on Wednesday. Clients are asked to use non-perishable meals sent out earlier in the season. If clients do not have frozen meals, or if they have lost power, they can use Heater Meals, shelf-stable meals that come in an orange box. Directions for heating are on the box. Heater Meals are not intended for use in a microwave oven.

The Office on Aging and Disability Services and the Office of Veterans Services, both located in the Department of Human Services building at 27 Warren St. in Somerville, will be closed to walk-in traffic on Wednesday.
Older adults and caregivers needing information or assistance may call 908-704-6346 or toll free 1-888-747-1122 to speak with an Office on Aging & Disability Services specialist.

The Richard Hall Community Mental Health Center in Bridgewater will also be closed to the public on Wednesday. There will be no scheduled or walk-in appointments.
For psychiatric emergencies, call Bridgeway Psychiatric Emergency Screening Services (PESS) at 908-526-4100. If you have an appointment on Thursday, call the center at 908-725-2800 to confirm that your provider will be available for appointments.
